What is Bespoke and how is it better than custom?
Nothing feels better than wearing a suit that was made just for you, a one of a kind masterpiece that isn't meant to be borrowed or replaced. That is the definition of a bespoke suit. A bespoke suit is a custom handmade suit that is made from scratch upon your specifications. Bespoke is all hand-stitched unlike a custom suit, which is a factory produced base on your personal measurements. Every stitch is hand sewn with delicate and quality care.
All of our suits are specifically hand-tailored to fit and complement your personal look. When you come in for your first appointment you will select the outer suit fabric, the suit lining, and style of your suit. We have hundreds of the worlds' finest materials from famous merchants such as Scabal, Dormeuil, and Loro Piana, for you to choose from. These cloths can be preview in advance under the details tab.
We consult all of our clients on basic suit etiquette, everything from color combinations to dressing for the occasion that you need your suit for. We will help you look and feel your best, and give you the insight on how to let the suit talk for you. You can find additional tips and resources here on our blog.
Bespoke suits typically take about six weeks to make so keep that in mind when scheduling your appointment. Bespoke dress shirts also take about six weeks and bespoke overcoats can take eight to ten weeks. If you order dress shirts and a suit they will be completed at the same time.
